The three-phase input filter consists of passive components L, C and R, integrating common-mode and differential-mode attenuation networks. It is designed according to the frequency characteristics of electromagnetic interference generated by the frequency converter at the input side to the power grid and other equipment during operation. It ensures the stable operation of electronic devices around frequency converters and eliminates the drawbacks caused by converters. Installed between the power grid and the frequency converter, this bidirectional filter suppresses electromagnetic interference in both directions: it isolates interference from the grid to the converter, and also prevents the converter from polluting other equipment on the power grid.
